Sofia

At first, Maya didn't want to keep her bastard daughter. She bore the mark of her father, King Adrien. But Lola-- being an abandoned bastard, herself,-- she implored her daughter that she chose to have this happen and now she has to own up to taking care of Sofia. 
Maya loved and hated her daughter, but still took in her mother's advice. Sofia grew to be a determined, free spirited child. At the ripe age of 14, she got fed up with never making her mother proud. In the night, she left the caravan. It felt good to be free, anywhere seemed better than the circus. But the fact remained, she didn't have a home and it was dangerous for a girl like her to be off on her own amongst beggars and thieves. Once fateful day, she spotted a thief trying to pick pocket a blind woman. Returning the pouch, the older woman took her in. Her family had died off leaving her head of her household, she needed someone to be her eyes. Sofia seized the chance. Though the woman was stern at times, she was very down to earth and was happy enough to listen to Sofia share her thoughts. But one thing she never knew was the royal birthmark on Sofia's face.
