Comet Tail

This character always turns up somewhere, and is being paired up with Twilight Sparkle....

I think it's time for Comet Tail to have a story and stats, don't you think

Occupation: Astrologer in training.
Personality: Adventurous, easygoing, cool-headed, and a bit reclusive
Friends: Twilight Sparkle, Spike, Shining Armor, Pokey Pierce, Noteworthy, Caramel, Thunderlane, and Soarin.
Crush: Twilight Sparkle
Rivals/Enemies: Flash Sentry, Sunset Shimmer, Trixie, and Prince Blue Blood.

Backstory:
Comet Tail always wanted to fly like his mother as a colt. He wanted to see what it was like in space, where Comet Fire worked gathering evidence of new life and planets. Polaris, his father, would tell him stories of constellations and show him planets through his telescope. As much as Comet Tail enjoyed being with his father, he felt it wasn't enough.
One day, he couldn't take it. Comet Tail focused all of his magic onto his body and charged off a ledge. And for a moment he found himself flying... Until his magic wore off and his mother caught him. Finding out he could make himself fly with magic he practiced everyday to perfect his ability. At school he'd get teased for how stupid his idea sounded. But one day Twilight Sparkle came a comforted him when he was down in the dumps. He had heard about her incident with her and her powerful magic and was curious if she had any tips on controlling his magic. So Twilight advised him to keep himself relaxed when preforming the move, that way his energy wouldn't be used up with stresses both physically and mentally.
Comet's training was improving, by using mediation and relaxation methods he felt confident and free. One day on the mountains, the young colt made the plunge. Ponies screamed in shock as they saw the colt free falling down to his doom. His mother Comet Fire tried to reach him but she wasn't fast enough to catch up.
But Comet Tail wasn't afraid... A burst of ice blue light came from him and carried him to the skies. Ponies below oohed and aahed at the sight; even young Rainbow Dash was impressed.
